This is an really cool project that I had the opportunity to participate while I was at Ingeenium... We collaborated with the ETSEIB department of Mechanical Engineering of the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya to design a Formula Student.
The engineering team included 10 students that designed most of all the mayor mechanical parts of the car, and Ingeenium did the bodywork.
It was great to see the car built and running... even though I'm still waiting to be in the cockpit to take it for a spin.... soon, I hope.

the wannabe fixie

a lite note for a friday... some color and detail test on my custom made wanabe fixie bike... which I use all the time to get around town. These few images sparked an idea from Tim's head (friend and colleague at the studio) to offer bike enthusiast a preview of what custom paint, forks, saddles, etc. would look like on their frame before committing to the changes. We'll see if people get interested...

Deep - Knockdown Furniture

This design takes a single curvature and alters its length and angles to form an unconventional table. A dissected arc and interlocking joints give the piece structure. Simple assembly makes for a very efficient knockdown piece of furniture. The target market for the piece is contemporary young and middle age people with a desire for minimal, practical yet unusual furnishings.
Deep ships flat in a 16” x 22” x 3” box .

Dinamics - Lounge Seating

An overall design to resolve the commodity of a lounge chair into a compact and dynamic piece of furniture. Upholstered in ultrasuade, the legs conform the elemental shape of the chair. The integration of the back and seat to the legs in inherent to the whole. These two elements are taken as one for the fluent and statement of the design.
